Ben Folds 101

Who out there is digging this guy? If you are - can you point me in a direction of some songs that will help me get to know him better? I hear a lot about him but to me he's like the neighbor I see taking the trash out every Sunday night. He's familiar but I have no idea who he is.

He was the lead singer for Ben Folds Five. They had a few hits a few years back (Brick was one of them). If you can get your hands on Whatever and Ever Amen you'll recognize a couple of songs. I have this CD and LOVE it.

I haven't heard his recent stuff though. I'll have to check it out!

"The Luckiest"...his best song, in my opinion. But it could be because that is "our song".

I think I need to go and listen to it again actually...

http://s54.yousendit.com/d.php?id=ZDAUC4SGZLWG23AM3GEJ3YCK8 for rockin' the suburbs, his first solo album and one of my faves.

if you can find the video for 'still fighting it', watch it. very cool. favorite line from the song - 'you're just like me, i'm sorry'.

My wife and I are big Ben Folds fans. He was with Ben folds five for a couple of albums which are all awesome. "Brick" was their biggest hit. He went Solo and the album "Rocking the Suburbs" is very cool. I think my wife and I have every album and even the special EP's from his website. He toured two years ago with Tori Amos. I woul recomend "rocking the Suburbs" as a start.
